7 of the best classic Tottenham shirts

1985-87 - Home

European Cup, cockerel emblazoned shirt, simply perfection. When you hear the word ‘Lilywhite’, this is the shirt Spurs fans should think of.

1983-96 - Home

Spurs were largely at the forefront on 80s iconic kit and this shadow stripe was certainly a hit. 1983 saw the introduction of the most iconic Tottenham sponsor of all time, Holsten.

1985-1987 – Home

Spurs, Holsten and Hummel. Name a more iconic trio, we’ll wait…

This beauty was also graced by Diego Maradona during Ossie Ardiles’ testimonial, adding to its appeal.

1989-91 – Home

Is Gascoigne going to have a crack? He is you know…

Another iconic Hummel and Holsten kit makes our top seven.

1995-96 – Away

Spurs have had a number of purple kits over the years but we think Pony’s attempt in 1995-96 is the pick of the bunch. Whilst the Purple & navy stripes and crested badge are the stand-out elements of this kit, we think the sleeve detail is the highlight. Reimagined as part of our first collection.

2010-11 - Home

Worn for Tottenham’s return to Europe’s elite club competition under Harry Redknapp, this striped number from Puma has probably had its’ appeal elevated thanks to those famous Champions League nights at White Hart Lane.

1993-95 – Home

After six years of Hummel kits between 1985-91, Umbro had to pull something out the bag to create a memorable kit for the 1993 home kit – they nailed it with the collar and block colours, and it certainly helps that a certain Jurgen Klinsmann wore the shirt in his first season at the North London club.
